How can I join?

If you are an eligible employee you may apply for membership of PACE once you have completed three months continuous employment with one of the following organisations (or of their designated subsidiaries):

• the Co-operative Group
• Co-operative Financial Services
• Co-operative Insurance Society
• The Co-operative Bank
• Co-operatives UK
• the Co-operative College
• the Co-operative Party

There are certain circumstances under which the Group and the Trustees can impose special terms.  Please contact the Group Pensions team if you want further information.

Please complete an application forms if you would like to join PACE.  Forms can be downloaded at the bottom of this page or alternatively are available from the Group Pensions team or your Human Resources Department.  Details of where to send your completed application are included on the form.

You can also complete a nomination form and return it to the Group Pensions team to let the Trustees know who you would like to receive some or all of any PACE lump sum death benefit. This is available from the Group Pensions team, or can be downloaded below. Please keep your nomination form up to date as your circumstances change. The Trustees will take note of your wishes but will not be bound by them.

Which application form do I complete?

The form you need to complete depends on who you work for, please choose the relevant form from the list below. If you are not sure which form to complete please contact the Group Pensions team.

Please note: If you do not join at your first opportunity, evidence of good health may be required and special terms may be applied if you ask to join at a later date. You will only have one further opportunity to join and then only with the agreement of the Group and the Trustees.
