How PACE is Run

PACE is managed by a company called PACE Trustees Limited, which was set up by the Co-operative Group to run the pension scheme.  The company's primary duty is to run PACE in the best interests of its members.

PACE Trustees Limited has a board of 14 people who are the Trustee Directors of PACE.  Seven of the Trustee Directors are appointed by the Co-operative Group, six are elected by the members of PACE, and one is a professional independent trustee.  You can use the menu on the left-hand side of this page to find out more about the individual trustees.

The Board of Trustee Directors usually meet 4 times a year and have a specialist investment sub committee who also meet 4 times a year to assist the trustees in monitoring PACE's investment performance.  The investment sub committee is made up of Trustee representatives and investment professionals.
