What if I left PACE with a deferred pension?
If you have a deferred pension and you are unable to work due to ill health, you may be able to take your pension early, subject to the agreement of the Trustees. If the Trustees decide that your medical condition means that you will be permanently unable to do any paid work for any employer, you may apply for the pension you have already built up in PACE to be made payable but this wil be reduced as it is being paid early.
