Can I opt out?
If you have joined PACE and decide that you no longer wish to be a Member, you may withdraw at any time, subject to a notice period. However, if you stop your membership of PACE, you will not be covered for the life assurance benefits described in the Benefits section of this website.
If you decide to leave PACE, you will need to notify the Group Pensions team at least 60 days before you want your contributions to stop. Your benefits will be calculated as if you were leaving employment (see the Benefits section of this website). After that, you will only have one opportunity to rejoin and this will be at the discretion of the Group and the Trustees and may be subject to medical checks and special terms.
