Moving Forward Together – The Co-operative Group’s Employee Pensions Consultation
The Co-operative Group has announced a formal consultation about the pensions that are available to its employees. The Group has set up a special consultation website: www.pensionsconsultation.coop where you can find details of the Group’s Proposals.
The PACE Trustee is aware of the Group’s proposals and subject to the satisfactory completion of consultation the PACE Trustee would expect to agree to the Group’s Proposals.
As the consultation is between the Group and its employees no information about the consultation will be appearing on the PACE website. If you want any information about the Group’s Proposal then you should go to the consultation website www.pensionsconsultation.coop.
Pensions Modeller
During the consultation period a Pensions Modeller is available on the Group’s consultation website www.pensionsconsultation.coop.
Co-operative Trading Group launches a NICE way to fund your PACE pension
The Co-operative Trading Group has announced the re-launch of salary sacrifice for its contributing PACE members and will shortly be writing to them to explain how they are affected. The new name for salary sacrifice is NICE Pensions.
NICE Pensions is only available for Co-operative Trading Group employees. If you are employed by Co-operative Financial Services, Unity Trust Bank, Co-operatives UK, the Co-operative College or the Co-operative Party you are not affected by the introduction of NICE Pensions and the options you have for funding your pension remain the same.
